Miles Taylor and the Golden Cape

Today brings the release of my first middle-grade children’s novel, Miles Taylor and the Golden Cape: Attack of the Alien Horde. It’s a story about a seventh-grade boy who comes into possession of a cape that turns him into a superhero. The novel is a hybrid format containing mostly prose, but also 65 pages of comics by illustrator Dusty Higgins—whenever Miles becomes a superhero, the book switches to comics.
